After focusing on school after a seven year ski racing career, Kasia still had a competitiveness in her which led her to trying out the sport of rowing. She quickly gained the skills and speed required to row amongst the best, and within just a few years, Kasia had made it into the prestigious Women's 8 boat headed to the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.

Kasia found herself living through a near nightmare when she severely injured herself just over a month out of the Tokyo Summer Games. She lacerated her knee, hip and face, and had to have surgery on her collar bone. Just ten days after her accident, she had to race against a teammate to earn her spot back in the boat.

Kasia was an integral part of the Olympic Women's 8 boat where they became Olympic Champions, the first time since 1992.

Kasia has a bold personality. She stands up for what she believes in and has become a natural leader on her team.

When she's not training, Kasia loves to hike, ski, camp, and be with her friends outside. Fluent in french and english, Kasia has Italian citizenship and is starting to learn her third language.
